How can I apply for a computer?
The 8Ball Program aims to provide computers to all Murdoch students who cannot afford to buy their own. We also provide computers to students from other universities or schools, low-income earners, pensioners, and to community groups such as RUAH and Centrecare. In addition, we send computers overseas to impoverished communities. We follow the Basel Convention to ensure that computers sent overseas will be of use and won't end up in landfill.
Computers are free of charge to Murdoch Guild financial members. We ask for a $50 contribution to the program from non-financial members. Students will be given priority over non-students.
